Christchurch artist HARRIET MILLAR works mostly in acrylic and oil on canvas.

Harriets' works are hugely inspired by her love of the New Zealand landscape, and its various small towns and cities.  Her interpretations involve substantial layering of paint using bold, loose brushstrokes and unexpected colour.

More recently Harriet has evolved and expanded her subject matter to include beautiful, painterly botanicals.
